A guide to some of the symbolism you will find in the cemetery
Introduction
The Trust's first Heritage Trail booklet was published in 2004, four years after its formation. It was compiled following biographical research carried out by volunteers and was written by Dr Henry Will MBE, the Trust's first Chairman. Since that time, the good work carried out by those first volunteers has continued, and because subsequent research has revealed so many more interesting stories of those buried in the Cemetery, this second volume has been produced.

Ford Park Cemetery covers an area of 34.5 acres and includes some steep inclines. Some of the paths are tricky to negotiate so the Trust have produced a heritage trail booklet with that in mind.
